Biography

The debut single My Brother's Coming to Town was recorded at La Mina studio (Seville, Spain) in 2017. Since then the band hasn't stopped recording in various studios (and at home). The band, consisting of Michael (Harvest Soon - bass), Zef Raček (vocals, guitar & drums), Santi BL (vocals, guitars, bass, drums) and Gonzalo (Karavana - guitars), after having release 13 singles digitally, release their debut album called Mild Myopia on January 27th, 2022. Mild Myopia: The album’s lyrical themes reflect this dizziness, covering gratefulness and thanksgiving, indifference to inner-city political upheaval, unfair distribution of wealth, mind-altering substances, distance in relationships, dreams of video game consoles, painful doubts, freeing your mind, conscious breathing, tavern drunkenness, and attraction to darkness. The album was originally intended to be a collection of B-sides and outtakes but turned out more cohesive than expected. The magic is that all these disparate leftovers fit together almost by chance, like musical meatloaf. The band structured the meatloaf into 3 equal slices. The 1st slice is a selection of experimental home demos impossible to recreate in the studio. The 2nd slice is a few digestible songs recovered from an overtly ambitious studio session in Barcelona. The 3rd slice is composed of fresh off-the floor studio outtakes recorded in a garage on the outskirts of Seville. They were all baked out of the same mould. This mould is Best of Feelings.
