The long-awaited recording debut by Alexia Parenzee has been worth the stay. Originally hailing from South Africa, the Award-Nominated songwriter began her performing career touring through France, Mongolia, South East Asia and New Zealand, before finding herself settled in the regional Western Australia. Exploring stories of connection, identity and intrepid travels, Alexia’s music has made an instant splash in the Aus music scene, with her debut single ‘Creed and Colour’ gaining substantial national as well as international airplay since its release in 2021, followed closely by the deliciously smooth 2022 single 'Songs for Selenge' freshly released, and the highly anticipated debut EP set for release in Feb 2024. Alexia and her band, The Fold, featuring Rickie Glegg on drums, Rhyce Elliott on bass, Elias Harun on lead guitar and James Softly on keys, have been kicking goals since forming in late 2021, recently opening shows for incredible Aussie talents like Stella Donnelly, Kim Churchill and the illustrious Grace Barbé.
