Hailing from Kerala, India rapper Rakz Radiant is a force to be reckoned with. For the better part of the last decade as well as bagging the 2021 SocialMob Best Hip-hop Artist of The Year Award, Rakz Radiant has solidified his spot as one of the more prominent rappers to emerge from the second generational wave of Malayalam Rap & Hip-Hop. A live performance sensation, Rakz has headlined many shows with Kerala's biggest acts- ThirumaLi, NJ and Arcado to name a few. After discovering rap music through 50 Cent's In Da Club in 2010, Rakz began songwriting citing influences from Eminem, Lil Wayne, DMX, JAY-Z, Nas and many other hip-hop moguls. Growing up listening to artists like Drake, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar and The Weeknd among future chart toppers paved him the way in officially entering the scene in 2014. He has released over 80 songs to date, with many more on the way. From the success of his mixtape Night Vision (2018) to his current status as one of the founding members of the Kala Man Collective, he continues to inspire and motivate the upcoming generation of talent.
