Kalami Instruments: Guitar/Bass/Drums Kalami is a 28 year old Mexican - American hailing from Tijuana B.C. México. With a versatile combination of styles it allows me to play in different scenarios such as Latin Electro Pop to the most commercial EDM in the moment. I started to play instruments (bass) at the age of 11 years old, making a band who played covers from the best bands in the moment like Blink 182, between others. At the age of 12 i moved to drums and guitar and start writing my own songs. One of the artists who inspired me the most was Daft Punk by captivating me with their songs "One more time" and "Around The World". Also, Deadmau5 and Galantis have been inspiring from the start. Between being part in different bands and genres I got into many music perspectives, which allowed me to move into production. In 2018, Kalami was formed out of an idea from a vacation in Greece in 2017, Corfu at Kalami Beach. His sounds can be described as Tropical Future House, with a touch of harmonic Latin Trap, Mombathon and Reggaeton rhythms & melodies. In March 2018 he released a first single “Your Love” and in July a second single “Bubbleo Gum”. Preview to new releases in May 2019 with “My Heart Beats” & “Namaste” following by his newest single colaboration with DonCanseco “High On Life” Release on June 2019. Now 2024 finally my new album is out along with tracks like “In Flames” and “Dancing Like The Joker”
