I am a jazz vocalist and composer, living creatively through jazz and intuition. I'm a Dutch Indonesian immigrant and I grew up in the wilds of Northern Ontario, Canada. Free jazz, sound poetry, punk and dreamwork colour my creative process. I have lived in Montreal for most of my adult life with my husband, drummer/composer/visual artist Michel Lambert. Our sons, van garden and beamer! have their own label, Friday Night Inn for abstract hip hop and Montreal trap. They inspired my jazz music for children, Bebop for Babies, and continue to inspire me with their spoken word performances, often with my Genius Loci Ensemble or Michel's Ars Tranmutatoria projects.
