Iago Fernández is a drummer and composer from Cangas, Galicia, mostly in the jazz scene. Since the age of 18, he has performed regularly at festivals and clubs in America and throughout Europe, especially Switzerland, Spain and Portugal. He has performed with artists such as Avishai Cohen (trumpet), Omer Avital, Perico Sambeat, Jesse van Ruller, Malcolm Braff, Jorge Rossy and many others. Fernández can also be heard on over 40 albums, including four as bandleader and composer: "Agromando" (2011), "Acougo" (2015), "Brisa" (2016) and "Luzada" (2022).
