Growing up in Oakland, CA, Jordan Thomas was surrounded by a myriad of musical influences. Having the Greek, the Fillmore, Gilman, Yoshi's, and many other incredible venues gave the opportunity to explore the rich music history that the Bay had to offer. The early days were filled with Green Day, Incubus, AFI, and other staples of Live105, the city's legendary Alt-Rock music station. Jordan's taste quickly evolved to encompass Zion I, Mac Dre, Too $hort, Hieroglyphics, and other Bay rap icons. Kegs, blunts, and going dumb were the norm; and life was good. However, while going to college like the rest of those 90s babies, Jordan found himself immersed in the world of dance music, amongst other things. After hearing Justice, Boys Noize, the Chemical Brothers, and SebastiAn the musical world Jordan knew was never the same, and for the last decade-plus, Jordan has been immersed in house, techno, and everything in between. Slowly building his craft and incorporating the past into his productions, Jordan has cultivated a sound capable of finding its way to depths of the underground or to the trunk of some slump in the town.
