Cameo Blush is the project of London-based producer and DJ John Dunk, producing experimental dance music that draws on a mix of UK sounds and beyond. The producer combines distant elements of the dance music sphere, all the while retaining a signature sound and style of production full of unexpected twists and turns. Cameo Blush returns to Future Classic with new EP ‘Just Concentrate’. Following on from last years ‘Ultimate Grey’ EP on the label, ‘Just Concentrate’ sees Cameo Blush shine as he continue to create anthemic tracks that capture the raw emotional energy of the club. Cameo Blush’s first release of 2024 saw him return to unknown - untitled (via unknown - uncovered) with ‘Z’, a single that the producer describes as ‘a track that represents a new found confidence in my own artistry, and the value of simplicity in production’. Named one of Mixmag’s Top 25 Artists to Watch, Cameo Blush released the five-track ‘Ultimate Grey’ EP in September 2023 on Future Classic, featuring collaborations with yunè pinku and Pretty Girl as his first foray into working with featured vocalists and a sidestep outside of conventional club structures. Cameo Blush is quickly becoming renowned for his euphoric, rave-ready productions, including 2022’s standout EP ‘Silkworm’ via Ross From Friends’ label Scarlet Tiger, the title track selected by Mary Anne Hobbs as her Near Future Track on BBC 6 Music.
