Measles Mumps Rubella formed in Washington, DC in 2002 and were quickly invited by Dischord founder Ian Mackaye to record with him and Don Zientara at Inner Ear studios resulting in the Zussammen Mit Motown/Lighter's out 7". They spent several years performing their explosive art-punk locally with such contemporaries as Antelope, Black Eyes and Q And Not U as well as and touring with Le Tigre, Bratmobile, Trans Am and Rah Bras all while having their name misspelled in show listings, articles and even a book!
