With a recognizable acoustic signature, pianist Jean-Pierre Como, Steinway Artist, is a charismatic virtuoso in total symbiosis with his instrument. He is one of the rare musicians capable of telling a story, of sharing and transmitting his passion to the audience, thus drawing listeners into his powerful poetic imagination. A major figure, Jean-Pierre Como has left his mark on the jazz scene since he co-founded the emblematic jazz fusion group Sixun. He has played alongside a multitude of great names such as Michael Brecker, Didier Lockwood, Stefano Di Battista, Jean-Luc Ponty, André Ceccarelli, Paco Sery, Paolo Fresu, Aldo Romano, Javier Girotto, Hugh Coltman, Anne Ducros... He asserted himself very early as a leader, with a discography in which his talents as a pianist and compositor flourish. My Days in Copenhagen, with Thomas Fonnesbæk and Niclas Campagnol, celebrates a natural and personal approach to jazz standards. Com ô Paradis, his 14th album, is a piano solo.
