With its blend of indie, alternative and soft rock influences, Arrows has swiftly emerged as a distinctive voice in the modern music scene. Launched in 2018 by Bombay-based songwriter and musician David Britto, the project grew from his experiences with Bombay blues-rock band The Tripp. Britto, who captivated audiences at festivals such as Bacardi NH7 Weekender and Sula Fest, channelled his diverse musical background into Arrows, blending powerful songwriting with collaborations from influential Indian indie artists. Arrows has made its mark with a sound that marries Britto's emotive lyrics with contributions from artists like Raghav Meattle, Warren Mendonsa aka Blackstratblues, Tejas, Riya Duggal, Siddharth Basrur, Vernon Noronha and The Lightyears Explode. In 2023, Arrows released its debut EP, 'Friends Tonight, Strangers Again,' which highlights Britto's knack for crafting compelling narratives alongside a roster of notable collaborators. Arrows’ discography includes singles like "Spaces," "Buried to Dust" and "To Your World." Other standout tracks include "Wish You The Best," "Hello Cheater" and "Another Avenue." The project also explores new sonic territory with "Southern Belle," featuring rinaldo and Brent Tauro. Through a blend of engaging collaborations and Britto's distinctive vision, Arrows continues to evolve in the indie and rock music scene.
