Organic Organ Trio was formed in 2015 by members Oskar Cederblad, Victor Rydström and Simon Jonsson. After a couple of years of touring with music from the American Songbook the trio went to the US to meet with musicians like Peter Bernstein, Larry Goldings, John Riley, Yotam Silberstein, Ben Paterson among others. This trip led to the album To Whom It May Concern (TickTickTick 2020). In the spring of 2023 the group will release their brand new album Powerplay (Naxos/Prophone) with the legendary Åke Linton as recording technician and mixer. Oskar Cederblad is an Örebro based drummer with a wide musical palet. He has through the years worked with several different groups nationally and internationally; KUNGEN JAZZ, Karmiah (CAN), E321 to name a few. With a deep touch and creative playing he gives the music a solid ground whilst still pushing boundaries. Victor Rydström is a guitar player resident in Gothenburg. During the last two years he has been frequently touring with several groups and recorded two albums in his own name; To Whom It May Concern (TickTickTick 2020) and Be An Artist (Imogena 2021). In Victor we meet a guitarist with a clean tone, well balanced phrasing, clear lines and a will to always put the music first. Simon Jonsson is a hammond organ player based in Gothenburg. He has done several concerts and projects in Sweden together with well renowned people such as Rolf Jardemark, Adam Ross, Ulf Bandgren, Samuel Olsson, Fredrik Kronqvist among others.
