Elevating from the ashes and smoke clouds of the “Mile High City” is Denver’s Roots/Dub/Funk artists known as MASSIF. A roster of seasoned musicians that was created for a purpose to make you groove with positive impact. Their message is spoken universally through heavy drum n’ bass and soulful melodic hooks. Originated in the spring of 2021, MASSIF is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated bands to hear and see in Colorado. Their first single “Flashback” was released independently at the end of October 2021 . It is currently available on all major music and streaming platforms. Since their release, the band has played a few select shows in 2021 and even opened for heavy hitters Through The Roots at the Black Sheep in CO, Springs. During the winter/spring months of 2022. MASSIF has headed back to the studio to finish up 6 fresh recordings at SOCO sound Lab. They plan to release a collaboration with California reggae kings “Arise Roots” on a track named “Cali Heart” due later this fall 2023. The song was inspired by the Colorado/Cali connection to “show more love to others” caused by the revolving pandemic problems of 2019.
