From a young age, sax was introduced to and has been strongly influenced by the likes of global legends such as Tim Maia, Mulatu Astatke, and Tatsuro Yamashita. Besides his sonic influences, sax finds motivation in the encouragement his family and friends have given him over the years, especially from his parents and two brothers.
