Biography

The Shop Window are a five-strong Janglepop/Indiepop guitar band originally from Maidstone, Kent. Members are now spread across four counties - Kent, Wiltshire, Dorset and Suffolk. Fronted by partners in crime, Carl Mann (Vocals/Guitars) and Simon 'Syd' Oxlee (Vocals/ Keyboards). Completing the line up are Paul Reeves (Guitar, Saxophone and whatever else he can get his hands on), Martin Corder (Bass) and Phil Elphee (Drums). The band have released two albums to date, ‘The State Of Being Human’ (2021) and ‘A 4 Letter Word’ (2022). Both albums were extremely well received amongst the ‘in the know’ Indie fraternity, and both topped many end of year “Best Album’ charts. Previous singles have notched up plays all over the world, including spins from Deb Grant (BBC6 Music), Gideon Coe (BBC6 Music), Gary Growley (BBC radio London) and Abbie McCarthy (BBC introducing).
