American hip-hop producer Oh It’s Chris went from teaching himself music programming to making beats for local hip-hop talent in the Rio Grande Valley and selling beats online. He was born Christopher Garcia, Jr in 1993. Growing up in Pharr, Texas. Garcia is also a musician of nearly 20 years from playing drums, guitar for 10 years, bass for 8 years and piano & keys for another 10 years. From an early age he would often jam with his friends and started a string of metalcore and deathcore bands, being encouraged by his rock and metal music enthusiast father to pursue music. At age 16 he began teaching himself production by making beats in his bedroom. He quickly found local placements for his beats and actively pursued rappers with his material. Socially energetic and always networking, some of Garcia’s placements include Drilla Jay, J.Croft and many more.
