Brandon Fair was raised in the historical town of Staunton, Virginia where he began experimenting with poetry and rap lyricism. His music is a mixture of playful experimentation with words as well as deep passionate verses that explore the depth of human emotion and pain. Every line is intended to speak life and hope into the listener. With constant inspirations such as Dee-1, Bizzle, Andy Mineo, Lecrae, Ty Brasel, and Trip Lee; Brandon's faith and gift have grown immensely since he first began in 2002 with nothing more than a computer microphone. In 2014, after reading Luke 19:40 ("I tell you," he replied, "If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."), Screaming Crab Music was born. Jesus would not rebuke the people of Jerusalem who were praising him and he made it clear that even if no one worshipped him, the physical creation around would cry out to honor the one true king. God does not need any of us to glorify His name, but He chooses to give us the opportunity to do so. Every person has an incredible purpose in this life, but many get distracted and buried in the hardships we all face. Whether it's hospitality, music, art, science, construction, event planning, organization, design, technical skills, teaching, listening, writing, acts of faith, or any other gift; God has made us uniquely with a specific purpose. Screaming Crab Music is a reminder of the incredible potential each of us have to truly change the world.
