Singers he admired were Buddy Holly & Ricky Nelson “Only in My Dreams” charted at #5 in Phoenix, Arizona and was followed with a series of Teen Favorites including “Golden One", “Lovemaker, Lovebreaker” & “A Tear Has Taken Your Place”. Cashbox noted “Fafara has something of the late Buddy Holly in his light beat delivery” while Billboard awarded him their Highest 3 Star Rating. Frank’s original recording band included Richard Meyer on Lead Guitar, Jim Schultz on Drums & Frank on Rhythm Guitar. Frank Fafara’s recordings have sparked new interest since being featured in TV series such as The Good Wife, Bates Motel & American Horror Story.
