François Joncour began his musical adventure in pop groups (Pastoral Division , I come from pop) which gave him an immoderate taste for the stage and the sound setting. It was under the alias Poing that he developed his first solo compositions, surrounded by his synthesizers and his faithful guitars. He ventures into the fascinating lands of American minimalists and contemporary French composers. Also, as a good follower of "field recording", he does not hesitate to throw himself into urban and rural places in order to extract concrete bursts of sound from them. His recent collaborations with visual artists, scientists and dancers lead him today on the fascinating paths of sound adventures and experiments of all kinds.
