Hailing from the vibrant city of Toronto, Canada, Jeffrey's musical journey began under the sun-soaked skies of Lagos, Nigeria, where he found inspiration in songs by Wizkid, 2Baba, Boj, Cruel Santino, Blackmagic, Wande Coal, & Burna Boy. Immersed in a family deeply connected to the music scene, Jeffrey's uncle, the influential T-joe, a prominent music distributor, introduced him to the melodies of P-Square, D'banj, and other Nigerian music legends. This early exposure laid the foundation for Jeffrey's ability to seamlessly blend African rhythms with the contemporary vibes of pop and hip-hop, giving rise to his distinctive sound. In December 2020, Jeffrey released his debut EP, "Sorry Dad, I Do Music Now," a poignant tribute to his father's initial skepticism about his musical pursuits. The brilliance of his songwriting and musical arrangements elevated the EP, captivating listeners. Notably, Jeffrey ingeniously paired these outstanding tracks with scenes from classic Nollywood movies, resulting in a series of viral videos that thrust him into the public eye. With two successful projects, Jeffrey launched Afro6ix—a vibrant blend of immigrant lifestyles in Canada, expressed through style, fashion, and music. Afro6ix Vol 1 earned acclaim, signaling a promising future for this Lagos boy heating up the cold north.
