Hailing from Markham, Ontario, singer-songwriter Maya Gabriel fell in love with music at an early age. In elementary school, she made her “artist debut”, as the drummer in a rock band, and since then, has never looked back. While in the band, Maya was introduced to the guitar, immediately added it to her list of self-taught instruments, and the rest was history. Releasing her first single “Amnesia” in October of 2019, and her second single “Fall” in January of 2020, Maya has been able to tell her story though music while drawing musical inspiration from India Arie, Tracy Chapman, Taylor Swift, John Mayer and Ed Sheeran to name a few. With the influences of Country, R&B, Alternative, Pop, and singer-songwriter/folk, Maya Gabriel gives you songs to feel, and songs to heal.
