Award winning cellist Erica Piccotti has a very active career as soloist and chamber musician. She records her debut album with Warner Classic at the age of 18, recently she has starred in the movie “100 Preludi” by Alessandra Pescetta where she interprets a talented cellist. Born in Rome in 1999, she starts playing cello at the age of 5 and graduates at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Music in Rome at the age of 14. She then attends the Accademia Stauffer in Cremona under the guidance of Antonio Meneses, the Kronberg Academy with Frans Helmerson and the UDK in Berlin with J.P. Maintz.
