Biography

Fiori Musicali is an English period instrument ensemble, founded by Penelope Rapson, that serves as the house orchestra at the annual St. Ceciliatide International Festival of Music, held at Stationers' Hall in London. The group also works very closely with recorder player Pamela Thorby and regularly concertizes backing up such artists as cellist Elizabeth Wallfisch. Although the group has not declared its "age," Fiori Musicali has been active since at least 1980 and has recorded for the Metronome and Ars Musici labels.
