Simone Volpato aka STOMP BOXX. Born in Venice began his career as a producer and DJ at the age of 15 when he sold his bass guitar and used the money to buy his first console. In 2018 nominated BEST DJ an PRODUCER at the Jagermusic Lab in Berlin. STOMP BOXX embodies a rare mixture of techno, punk and house both in its DJ sets and in its productions in which we’re able to hear his punk origins. In 2018 and 2019 he lands in some of the most important italian festivals such as FUTUR KAPPA FESTIVAL, Decibel Open Air and Movement just to name a few. On 2020 debuts with Alex Lentini in DRUMCODE, Adam Beyer's label with "Expanders" included in A-Side vol.10 (DC 235). On 2021 the collaboration continued being even more solid releasing two more ep on DRUMCODE, “Fine Line” and “Split the Noise”. DJ Mag and Rolling Stones IT both have labeled him “tutto cuore e follia” which means he’s all made of passion and madness, just to underline his artwork that does not conform to the canonical and usual music of today’s dancefloors. In fact within his sets STOMP BOXX often includes analog Drum & synths, his favorite passion, making a live show that goes beyond pure mixing.
