Hailing from a small town in Picayune, Mississippi, MONDUHGOAT a.k.a. Ahmon Spencer started rapping since the age of 5 years old. MON grew up in a close-knit family of six siblings. His mom and stepdad were both singers, and as a child he was exposed to the traditions of gospel music and the rap trio that his uncles created. In between music, he played defensive tackle for his football team in high school. Mon admits that he decided to walk the right path, “I knew that all I wanted to do was music, so I was gonna work hard and not yield to street hustling”. MON worked two and three jobs at a time to support his music ambitions. His music inspirations span from Drake, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne to Michael Jackson. MONDUHGOAT’s first single “From Nothing” was a total connection to his Mississippi, southern based roots. “It locally went crazy, and I decided from there to go harder.” MON worked 2 jobs so he could save up enough money to dedicate himself full time to the music game”. It was then that MON decided he would dedicate himself 100% solely to the music game. The latest single from MONDUHGOAT is titled “POWER”, his live freestyle on the outlet ‘From The Block’ went viral and is already the newest TikTok viral sensation. “I want to show youth and people my age that you don’t have to do the same trends as trap music with lyrics about murder and drug life, I’m different!”. MONDUHGOAT is different and we can’t wait for him to become a household name.
