Tahj Neely is a Houston-based recording artist born in an Iowa area known to some as Davenport. An upcoming independent artist he specializes in the Genre of R&B, sometimes crossing over into the genre of Rap. He considers himself an “R&B artist with a Hip-Hop feel.” Tahj moved to Houston in 2018 with his family to go to school majoring in Audio Recording Technology at Houston Community College. While going to school, he also got a job as a barista while making music his side gig, hoping it will shift to full-time soon. Tahj firmly believes that music has the power to transport listeners into another space and time, and loves to harness that power with fellow music lovers and musicians alike.
