Maryland native Yani K. is soon to be a force to be reckon with in the world of hip-hop. Her mellow style mixed with no-nonsense lyrics and soulful delivery stands out amongst the thousands of artists emerging in music today. Despite being hesitant about sharing her music, she stepped out of her comfort zone in 2018 and released her first single on SoundCloud, “Whistleblower 2.0”. While perfecting her craft, Yani K. was featured on blogs LA on Lock, Global Money World, Paradise Electro, and EarMilk. She released her debut EP “Solstice.” in August 2019. Aside from being an artist, recognition for other talented emcees and bringing authentic hip-hop back is one of Yani’s biggest passions; she is currently working towards building “The Substance”, a brand focused on music promotion and marketing for underrated and overlooked artists.
