The Malaga group MEL'S is created by the Malaga singer-songwriter Luis Martos. Their songs are a fusion of several musical styles including, indie-pop, melodramatic folk, instrumental, and symphonic rock. Their lyrics have spiritual, mystical, and passionate content. The songs speak of universal truths, emphasizing the unique and personal experience of human nature. Luis Martos is a composer and singer-songwriter born in Malaga in 1978. He was a semi-finalist in 2011 on an author song contest in Sevilla. He is part of the cultural association La Rebotica (Association of singer-songwriters and poets of Malaga). His album 'Connections', from 2010 received great recognition with the music video Reina Mu. 9 musicians are the core of MEL’s with a combination of different styles. The modern part is performed by the band‘ Buenas Noticias with Alfredo, Ricardo, Juanfran and Chema. They have a long musical career with 3 albums in the market and many performances nationally. The classic part features Miguel Angel Vera (El Argonauta) producer, pianist and teacher, Evelyn Martínez (chelo), Fátima Fernández (violin) and Susana Cortés and Jennifer Rodríguez (sopranos), teachers from the Triarte center in Malaga.
