I’m an artist that takes everyday life and put it in my own words. By mixing poetry and hip hop. I’ve been inspired by variety of artist such 2 Pac, Nas, Kanye West, Common, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Ice Cube, Jay Z, Marvin Gaye, and many others. Over time I allowed myself to become more vulnerable on songs. Music is my therapy that releases me from pain. I want my fans to feel like they know me while making myself relatable at the same time. I’ve been battling depression for over 20 of my life so I just wanna reach somebody through my songs. After the death of my father I’ve learned to just leave it all in songs. One of his wishes before he passed away was for me to give the world my story as well as good music. Maybe my music can get somebody through their struggles like it has done for me.
