Biography

My new album "Call For Location" is out now!! Jubilee has been staying up all night since as long as anyone can remember. She grew up in South Florida on the sounds of Miami bass, freestyle and Dirty South rap blasting from local radio stations like Power 96 and 99 Jamz. As a teen, she traveled to raves up and down the coast, absorbing Florida's uniquely regional palette of breaks, electro and drum 'n' bass. You can hear the influence of all this music on Jubilee's debut album, 2016's After Hours – soaked in 808s and 909s, fog machines and laser rays, and containing a huge hit in the form of "Wine Up," a bubblin' bashment cut featuring Bronx dancehall sensation HoodCelebrityy. This year, she follows it up with another collection of late-night anthems and drum machine workouts titled Call for Location, an homage to the rave hotlines of yesteryear and also her insane travel schedule. Jubilee's sound connects bass and breaks, dancehall, rap and techno in a way that feels effortless. If you were tuned into her year-long BBC Radio 1 residency, checking out her sets for Boiler Room or the Do-Over or pressing play on her tracks and remixes, you were hearing a love letter to all the places and musical moments that inspired Jubilee to take up DJing in the first place. This cutting-edge track selection, coupled with her infectious charisma behind the decks, has earned Jubilee primetime slots at Creamfields, Dour Festival, AMP Lost & Found and Montreux Jazz Festival.
