Cuzzin Charlie Kadeem Charles Lye (born Dec 6 1991 in Toronto, Canada.) better known as Cuzzin Charlie is an energetic rapper formally signed to Certified Cash (2010) an independent label operating out of Toronto. During that time he released 4 mixtapes and countless compilations with the label (all of which were deleted by label executives) , performed at the Jamaica Day festival, appeared on Much Music Rap City and opened for artists like Big Sean & YG. Rumour has it, it was him to come up with the infamous name Honey Cocaine when the label signed her back in 2011. Due to creative differences Charlie and the label parted ways. Since then, Charlie’s released 4 independent albums (2013 - 2020) from a label which he runs called Numinati Records / Gwop Gang Billionaires which he refers to as “The Nu Rocafella” After a long hiatus (3 years) Charlie began releasing music again late 2017 and hasn’t let up ever since. He’s currently working on a brand new album for release mid 2021.
