Maiar is a 5 piece post/doom outfit hailing from Maryland. Their unique combination of ambience, somber leads and blistering riffs creates an eclectic yet wholly cohesive product leaving nothing to be desired. Founding members Keith Higgins and James McBride have been playing together for over a decade and started Maiar the very same way. Keith juggles both duties in Maiar and another band by the name of Sharptooth. The band's debut album, VOID, released 06/15/2018 consists of songs that are four years in the making. Maiar are quickly proving themselves a force to be reckoned with.
