Jonathan Gabriel Durán Maldonado, now known as Püdel is a native of Bayamón. Younger than two brothers, this music fan from an early age finished university studies in biomedical. It is a career that interested him, as he reached the fourth year of high school he did not think he could aspire to be an artist. “I had always liked music, but they hadn't given me the opportunity,” he said. Püdel is the nickname that is born thanks to his barber, as a child the artist had an abundant hair, the nickname was adopted by his parents, friends and family.
