Following on from their 2018 full length album Death From Below, Suburban Dark continue their unrelenting rate of attack with Smell The Roses – a grim and brooding 6-track release maintaining the dark and heavy ethos of the production duo while honing the focus of their violent sonic approach. The nightmarish visions are richer in detail and the Sydney boys’ “Fight Beats” approach continues in full force. Focused on its brutal aggressive onslaught of beats, the EP admits only one guest feature - the ferocious Mathas. The Perth MC has a trail of his own accolades including WA Music Industry’s coveted Song of the Year award (the first ever for a rap or electronic artist), a pile of Best Urban Act awards and countless album award nominations.
