True Press is a reggae band based in Los Angeles, California, known for their progressive reggae sound and a strong focus on spreading positivity through music. The band was formed in an abandoned house in Los Angeles in 2009, where they began their musical journey by running electric cords through a neighbor's yard to power their equipment. They quickly gained attention for their unique blend of vocal harmonies and message-driven lyrics. The band is driven by a mission to inspire listeners to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals, using their music as a medium to spread love, positivity, and inspiration. True Press released their debut full-length album, "Anything Is Possible," in 2014. This album followed their "Sweet Reggae EP," released in the spring of 2011. "Anything Is Possible" was recorded in several studios, including Imperial Sound Studios and 17th Street Recording Studio both in CA. The album features tracks produced by various artists, including E.N Young & Lew Richards, and albums include guest appearances from Eric Hirschorn, Empress Selassie and Kyle Guerrero. In addition to their studio recordings, True Press has gained acclaim for their energetic live performances. They have played at various festivals and venues like the California Roots Festival and the House of Blues, both headlining and opening for roots acts like Don Carlos, Midnite, & Israel Vibrations, as well as new-generation artists like Rebelution, Slightly Stoopid, & The Green.
