Growing up on the streets of Lagos, Nigeria, Samvsthekids was exposed to the experiences that shaped his worldview. Drug abuse and gang violence plagued the streets and this would be part of the catalyst that sparked his artistic talent. Going by the name Samvsthekids Apollo, or SVTK for short, sam released his debut project in 2019 to critical acclaim. Going on to receive co-signs from Hiphop heavyweights such as MI Abaga, Payper Corleone, A-Reece and Teckzilla to name a few. Infusing anger and sadness into his music, he carved a niche for himself as an emo alternative indie artist that evokes tears from his audience. Samuel Odoh is an alternative musician from Nigeria.
