Ryan Carty from South London, UK is a soulful R’n’B singer songwriter and musician. He has worked with great artists including Stormzy, Childish Gambino, Ronan Keating, Emile Sande, Kano, Shalamar, Joycelyn Brown, Grammy award winning PJ Morton and the legend Elton John as well as jazz legend Roy Ayers. Ryan has opened up for American soul and R’n’B greats, Eric Roberson and Teedra Moses in 2019 and 2020 on their UK Tour. Ryan Carty’s single “Would You Mind” is an up-tempo, happy and feel-good track that relays a classic man’s approach to pursuing a lady. His lyrics acknowledge what some women may have endured in their past. However, whilst the song seeks to empathise with a lady’s reservations, Ryan is set on promising her that she will enjoy her time with him. Ryan Carty originally from gospel roots has returned to music as a solo artist ready to make his mark in the genre of Soulful R&B where he clearly fits so effortlessly. Renowned for his smooth soulful tones and melodic riffs he takes his influences from Stevie Wonder, Musiq Soulchild, Usher, Brandy, Bobby McFerrin, Fred Hammond, John P Kee, Marvin Winans and Kim Burrell. He fuses these together to create that Soulful R&B sound that is Ryan Carty.
