After almost 20 years of working together, the five musicians of OXYD, who met at the conservatoire, continue to offer music that cannot be classified. Unclassifiable because it falls outside harmonic, rhythmic and melodic clichés. Or because, on the contrary, the group has seized on these clichés to reappropriate them and make them its own. It's this search for a personal sound that has sustained them for all these years, a group sound to be sought by taking into account the personalities, tastes, evolutions and experiences of each member. Without worrying too much about fashions or aesthetic labels, their search lies elsewhere: in the group's personality and telepathy.
