TZARA is the avant-pop solo project & alias of South African composer & multi-instrumentalist Tara Boraine. Known for her DIY attitude & atmospheric sound design, she makes textured, melancholic electronica for the digital dream. 
 Placing a keen emphasis of genre-fluidity, their only constant is the cinematic & evocative nature of their productions. From a background of classical training and flute-playing, her insatiable hunger for new sonic pallets led her to branch out and pursue electronic music, experimental sound design & beatmaking. 
 Having shared stages with the likes of Pussy Riot, Egyptian Lover & Samiyam and consistently admired in the DIY communities, TZARA has been an integral player in the experimental South African music scene. 
 After a stint in the fast-paced world of audio post-production & film scoring was cut short by illness, TZARA is currently shifting her focus to prioritise healing, and working on her personal musical projects once more.
