Hailing from Sri Lanka and based in Melbourne, Shikai has quickly made a name for himself in the world of House and Techno. He made a splash in 2021 with his chart-topping singles under Maykel Piron's Chill Executive Officer Compilation on Armada Music, which went on to be featured on multiple charts worldwide. This included hitting #1 in iTunes Overall Albums Ukraine, #3 in iTunes Dance Albums Switzerland, #5 in iTunes Dance Albums USA, #5 in Beatport Mainstage Releases, #17 in Apple Music Dance Albums USA, and #11 in Apple Music Dance Albums Japan. In 2022, Shikai released his debut EP under Cafe De Anatolia and a groundbreaking single under Soundteller Records. He also received recognition for his talent, with his music being played on radio shows such as Armada Next, Armada Record Box hosted by Ben Malone , Yes FM's homegrown Top 15 and Island Pulse Radio. Shikai has taken his talent to various venues across Sri Lanka and Australia, with his unique style of music and mixing receiving high cheers and praise. Most recently he performed at Circus - Melbourne, Bloom - Geelong, and Botanik - Colombo, which is ranked among the Top 50 Bars in Asia. With support from renowned figures such as Maykel Piron, Billy Esteban , and Piotr Sarnecki, Shikai has many things in store for 2023 and beyond and is poised to expand his horizons by exploring different genres and styles.
