DMV star 909Memphis born Zachary Ballard originates from the UK but came to the US at the age of two. Getting his name from his then-favorite soccer player Memphis Depay, 909Memphis' love for soccer was drowned out by his love for music. In 2016-2017  he started uploading music on Soundcloud. The DMV star started as a producer but made the transition to vocals. His breakout single "Pure Spirit" is what really put him on the map. From then, he's dropped several mixtapes and his debut album "Mixed Feelings." 909Memphis might've started on Soundcloud, but his music has led him to do once in a lifetime things like staring in a G-Star Raw commercial. His style is unique to him. No one can do what he can the way he can. 909Memphis' voice allows him to manipulate his voice all types of ways to reach certain pitches that add to the effect of his songs. If you listen to one of Memphis' first songs "Pure Spirit" and then his new music such as "JT," "Invested," "Behavior" and "Up to Sumn" it's easy to see the progress he's been making.
