Hailing from the Hill neighborhood of New Haven, Connecticut, DV Fuego and his No Money Streaming collective are out to chart a new course for Connecticut Hip-Hop. DV started rapping with Feeva of HTV, then recorded some tracks on cassette with Party Boi Rokk and eventually started working with his cousins; Bossalini and Realla, forming the Gwap Rite Fam, or GRF, in 2012. Unfortunately, rap had to be put on hold after the birth of his first child, Cameron. Now he’s back in the rap game with a vengeance, working hard to make a better life for him and his kids. Inspired by a friend to create No Money Streaming, he’s putting himself on and helping other artists like Staythm and Maaley in the process. No Money Streaming is an all in one creative hub for music and video production, with DV at the helm. His first LP, Noble, is an unfiltered look at a real street life. If you’re from the block, you’ll find a kindred soul in DV. He lays it all on the table, only interested in being 100% real with listeners about who he is and where he came from. DV Fuego’s songwriting, hooks, and lyrical prowess are on full display on Noble. He can do it all, from hood party bangers that’ll light up any crowd, to soulful songs for the shorties, and gritty ghetto stories, with all of the ups and downs that hustlers can relate to. He’s a streetwise poet painting images for his listeners in his signature gravelly voice.
