Kora Award winner Silayio is a performing and recording artist based in Kenya. She has two albums under her former brand ‘Neema Ntalel’ (Live and Love, Dawn) and has toured around the world, most notably: The Trinity Tours, Out of Africa and The Daughters of Africa (All Across Europe), The Spear and Song Tour (Canada) and This is Africa (USA). Silayio recently re-introduced herself to the music scene with a stint on ‘The Voice Of Holland’ where she finished 7th out of 110 contestants. She also is an acclaimed actor. She most recently starred in the popular Netflix release ‘Nafsi’ where she played Angie and wrote and performed the soundtrack for the film.
