Since his first vinyl release - Ball & Chain EP on Null+Void Recordings in 2015 - gained support from some key figures in the UK electro scene, James has explored the more melodic side of braindance, electro, breakbeat and rave with a string of EPs on Analogical Force, Craigie Knowes, Feel My Bicep, 20/20 Vision and We’re Going Deep. His well-received debut album Vital Heat saw him move away from the dancefloor and broaden his musical range in a number of directions, from laid back piano pieces to frenetic breakbeat workouts. He plays wide-ranging DJ sets and acid-tinged live sets around the UK and Europe.
