Kagamine Len was created together with Kagamine Rin for the voice synthesizer product “VOCALOID2 Kagamine Rin & Len”, first released on December 27th, 2007 by Crypton Future Media. Shortly after the release of the software, fans and users started producing a massive amount of media featuring the character, and the popularity of these creations led to merchandise, live shows, and other projects.
