Tone Corlyone is a Ghanaian American rapper, singer, songwriter from the Bronx, New York. As a first generation NYC native throughout the 2000’s, some early influences include Hip Hop, R&B, & Ghanaian High Life. Beginning his musical journey at 7 years old recording a freestyle in a home studio in his illustrious and often referred to, Burnside neighborhood. However, music remained a hobby, dedicating his time to being an athlete. Playing Division 1 Basketball in college, until faced with a dilemma that ultimately made music become priority number one. Releasing his first official single in 2018, and first EP, “Bluergrin” in 2020. Later releasing a number of singles, EP’s, music videos and collaborations. Most recently, “Erotic” & “Stop Playing”, records off of his February 2025 mixtape, “Game Changer”.
