J.O. The Show was born in Miami, Florida in 1991. Early influences of Miami bass music and Miami house played a role in spreading his musical palate. In 2001 J.O. moved to Queens, New York where gritty street rap him provided instant inspiration to rap. Artist like 50 Cent, Jay-z and Jadakiss would help him develop a knack for lyricism and timely rap cadences which he is known for. J.O. produces, records, arranges and writes all of his music at his home studio where all of his influences play a part in his unique music creations. Today, J.O. The Show resides in Los Angeles where the sights and sounds of the city are being sprinkled into his new soundscapes. Crafting a new genre of music is J.O’s ultimate goal and studying artist and music from genres that currently exist provide the tools he needs to achieve this ambitious goal.
