Music collective for Dutch and American contemporary music. Pella Collective was founded in the Netherlands in 2019. After a successful concert with JacobTV on the program in the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the ensemble started to build on their modern-classical and contemporary repertoire. The ensemble focuses mainly on composers of their own generation from the Netherlands or the United States. In 2021 Pella Collective started a large project in which they recorded 'A Thousand Tongues' by Missy Mazzoli. Together with video director Mathieu Mulder they made a video clip around the piece. The music video is available on YouTube and Vimeo. The members of Pella Collective are now spreading their wings and can be found in Amsterdam, Texas and Florida where they study music.
