@ kristabucklandreisner.com Initially a violinist with a traditional classical background, I have evolved into a versatile musician, always performing from the heart. My journey through various styles and instruments is driven by a desire to explore new soundscapes and stay creative. I've had the privilege of performing with prestigious ensembles in Canada, my native country, the USA, and in Europe. These experiences have anchored me in musical communities that feed my artistic soul. Surrounded by like-minded, curious artists, I explore musical styles beyond the classical tradition, engaging in collaborations with living composers, 15th-century Nordic music, early music + jazz improvisation, and American folk. What motivates my music-making is the opportunity to make even one person feel seen and spoken to. Whether I'm performing in a local community orchestra, a women's shelter, an addiction recovery center, a senior living residence, or a concert hall filled with thousands, what truly matters is sharing the uniquely powerful impact of music with others.
