Nomad the Native is a Maryland-based rapper/producer with a pension for dizzying flows and heartfelt lyricism. Raised in Prince Georges’ county Maryland, his love for music was born in his local skating rinks. “When you’re grooving, going around in a circle with the music playing all around you, it’s like you’re the needle on a record,” Nomad vividly explains. Cole, Jill Scott, Saba, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Kendrick Lamar, and Black Thought, he aims to carry on a tradition of making music that reflects real life and begs to be replayed. To call Nomad the Native solely a rapper is a complete disservice to the talent and raw versatility that he presents in every track.
